Room tour

View of room "from above".

View of room “from above”. Forgot to annotate that the red “bulletin board” is actually a broken long-mirror from the previous tenants. 😛

My work corner with the built-in shelving! I love all manners of shelves and ledges and nooks.

The size of my room (in the UK, as a student) has progressively increased every year. History is as follows:

  • First year: university accommodation, a five-bedroom house. Single bed, acceptable size room.
  • Second year: three-storey, four-bedroom house near campus. Single bed on the top floor, slightly bigger than previous room.
  • Third year: two-storey, five-bedroom house further down the hill from campus. Double bed on the ground floor, very roomy room.
  • Fourth year (and inshaAllah fifth year): three-storey (not including unfurnished basement), six-bedroom house near town centre. Double bed on the ground floor, roomiest room ever, alhamdulillah! (All the rooms in this house are roomy.)

Seriously, a roomy room is just one of the many pluses of living off-campus.

I don’t really have much else to say, so byeee! Peace!

double bedroom is a must for us crazy people always strewing paper and models everywhere in times of chaos! 🙂 Love the room!

True that! Also, I’ve grown a habit of occasionally sleeping on the carpet, as a duvet sandwich instead of on the bed. Tak tau kenapa, haha. 😛

Oh, your room looks great. 🙂 I definitely need to get mine cleaned and organized, but never in the mood. Perhaps tonight I will make some progress? 😛
